I've been neglecting this part of my site. The truth is, I didn't feel like handcoding this file and uploading it to the site. Blogger has ruined me. And I haven't gotten around to moving this part over to Blogger. Well, either that or I'll combine this journal with the blog. But I haven't gotten around to removing that 'journal' link either. Damn I'm lazy.

I've been extremely busy these last few weeks. Lots of homework in all my classes. I'm not a very good programmer either so some assignments take a long time to finish. Anyway, enough bitching about school work.

Saw Keeping the Faith last week. Pretty good movie, although the last third wasn't as funny as the first two thirds. Jenna Elfman's really hot too. I forgot where I read this but someone described her as being so funny that it's not until a couple hours later that you realize she's beautiful too. Now that's the kind of girl I wish I could meet.

Also watched Seven Samurai last week. Whoa, amazing. I could easily see the influence it's had on other films. The characters were so cool, they're the kind of guys you'd want to hang out with if you lived in 16th century Japan.

So, the end of the first week of classes. Went pretty well, I think. My friend is in one of my classes, and 5 other friends are in my other 2 classes. Bad ass.

The transition to using Blogger went fairly smoothly. Now I realize the brilliance behind Blogger; it's so damn cool. I'm gonna need a better way of archiving though, Blogger's system doesn't work well with what I had originally planned. I'm also wondering whether I should combine this journal with the weblog, so I don't have to update 2 separate pages.

Went to Cheesecake Factory at the Spectrum for dinner with a bunch of my old friends from freshman year. Catching up with each other, reminiscing about the good old days, and collecting money I was owed.

Went searching for the infamous UCI riot tunnels last night. Apparently, when the school was built in the 60's they included underground tunnels to be used during riots. We actually found several entrances, but they were locked. In the middle of a big planter in Humanities we found a big metal trap door. It was unlocked, and we were pretty sure it led to the tunnels, but it was a 25 foot drop straight down. So much for that entrance.

Bought my books this morning. Lots of cute girls at the bookstore too, I hardly ever see cute girls walking around campus. I guess they just come out to buy books, then disappear the rest of the quarter. I'm beginning to doubt whether I can handle 3 cs classes. Hmm...maybe it wasn't such a good idea.

Back at school. I'm not looking forward to this quarter. I have 3 classes and they're all computer science classes. Doh! Then again, I was taking it easy the last 2 quarters, so this'll make up for it.

I'm back at home for spring break. So far I got a smog check, then went to the market. Man, I get the feeling this week's going to be boring. Every spring break they show college kids on TV getting drunk and having wet t-shirt contests and all that shit. Who are those kids? I don't know one person who went to Lake Havasu or Cancun or wherever. All the people I know are at home, probably sitting around like me. None of my friends wanted to do anything cool either. I wanted to drive across America, or hitch-hike to San Francisco or something like that. Oh well.

Went to Chili's for dinner with a bunch of people from my hall. Then me and Irving returned Evil Dead and rented Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness. It's kind of cool cause the series gets less serious and more funny. I'm gonna go back home tomorrow morning. Probably won't update this until I get back in a week.

It was boring around here so me and Irving went to Denny's and rented Evil Dead. At Denny's there was a big group of people dressed in business clothes at 11:30 at night. I wonder where they came from.

Think I'll skip work tomorrow and finish up this site. I'm almost done. I went for a minimalist look. The IKEA picture in the fun stuff section came out very cool. Wish I could've gotten a better picture though. I want to get a digital camera now. I have to finish up the about section now. I don't know what to write about myself without sounding conceited.

Did some more stuff for this site. A couple pictures turned out pretty good after all, after a lot of cropping. That IKEA thing is looking cool.

Picked up the pictures after work. That girl at the photo place had a bad attitude. Unfortunately, most of the pictures look like shit. Doesn't look like I can use any for this site. Maybe 3 or 4, that's it. Man, I need to work on my photography skills. I forgot everything I learned in high school.

Just finished making the navigation bar graphics. I must say, they look pretty damn nice. I'm bored and hungry. Thinking about going to Alejandro's. Finished that roll of film. I'll get it developed tomorrow.
