This guy has a Flickr set of some awesome Lego spaceships. I'm in the mood to play with Legos now but my mom gave them all away.

The trailer for The Unfinished Swan looks really cool. It's a first-person shooter where the entire world is white and you use what looks like a paintball gun to make your way around. If Jackson Pollack were still alive, this is the kind of game he'd play on his Xbox.

These Liquid Bookmarks are pretty cool. I bet they could do the same thing with fake vomit.

This site reviews the Nikon D90's video capabilities. Looks like it's not as good as I first thought cause there's a weird wobbling effect when you pan because of the way the sensor works. There's also no auto-focus.

Armored truck robber uses Craiglist to make getaway
...a brazen crook apparently used a Craigslist ad to hire a dozen unsuspecting decoys to help him make his getaway following a robbery outside a bank on Tuesday.
That's so awesome. They should let him keep the money just for being so clever.

The Nikon D90 was just announced and this site already has a quick preview of it. Looks it has great low light/high ISO performance, which is what I've been waiting for to trickle down to the lower-end models since the D3 came out. It's also the first SLR that can shoot HD video. You can play with the depth of field and selective focus just like on a professional video camera, plus you can use all lenses that're available like fisheyes and telephotos.

I've had a D70 for 4 years now and I haven't felt the need to upgrade to any models Nikon's released since, but the D90 might be the one.

This German site has some great photos from the Olympics. Note to self: never take up wrestling.

A remake of the classic Sierra game Quest for Glory 2 is available for free download. The old EGA game was completely re-done in 256-color VGA and they converted the text-based interface to a modern point-and-click. Everything else is faithful to the original game.
