Remember that awesome kung fu Flash movie with the stick figures that some guy did a few months ago? The Way of the Exploding Stick is a somewhat similar, playable version. You control a little stick man and beat up other little stick men. Nice little time killer.

In recent weeks the events of September 11th have been used as a universal excuse, sometimes even for things that have no relation to the attacks. Companies say they're laying off thousands of workers because of the attacks. Credit card bills are late cause of the attacks. Hell, even the poor box office performance of movies are blamed on the attacks.

I'm gonna do this too. From now on, I'm gonna blame everything on September 11th.

Microsoft's Xbox game console goes on sale next Thursday and the New York Times has a good article about it. The upcoming shopping season will be interesting. Nintendo's Game Cube is going to be released a few days before the Xbox, the Playstation 2 is finally getting some really good games, and the Dreamcast is now only $80.
