Even though I probably failed my math final yesterday, I can take comfort in the fact that I never have to take a math class again for the rest of my life. Well, assuming I pass this class, anyway.

Ars Technica interviewed the production team of Final Fantasy about the technical aspects of the movie. Some interesting stats: the movie had 149,246 frames, the average frame took 90 minutes to render, and altogether the render time was 934,162 days. Interesting stuff for those of you into computer graphics.

The Jean-Paul Sartre Cookbook. I think it would be even funnier if I had paid attention in philosophy class.

Police Find 500 Skeletons in House
Which reminds me, when's Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses coming out?

The Pentagon has plans for a spacecraft which could bomb targets from outer space. It would drop bombs from 60 miles up and travel halfway around the world in 90 minutes. From that height the bombs wouldn't even need warheads.
My favorite quote from the article says the bomber "...could drop precision bombs from heights of 60 miles or more." Now, it's well known that smart bombs dropped from B-2 bombers in Desert Storm and Kosovo missed their targets. If the military can't hit a target from 7 miles up, there's no way they can hit something from 60.
Not only that, but the bomber would use technology from NASA's X-33 reusable spacecraft program, which was cancelled because of technical problems. So all of a sudden the Pentagon can get it to work?
Another great idea from the Bush administration.

For those of you Macintosh users, Apple has a new keyboard out. Very stylish.
