Granny Busted for Heroin Spaghetti
I hope this guy appreciates what his grandma tried to do for him. My grandma doesn't give me heroin even though I'm not in jail.

I recently joined Photographica, a group photoblog. So I finally got around to making my first post tonight. Yay for me! I'm a winner! Anyway, I'll take my camera around with me from now on and try to get some good pictures.

My apartment complex is having a dance in about 10 minutes. We wear stoplight color-coded tags indicating our status: red for taken, green for available, and yellow for "not sure." I think I'll skip it. I don't have the nerve to go up to a green tag-wearing girl and ask her to dance. Not to mention a girl with a yellow tag. Yup, I think I'll stay in my hot, stuffy room and surf the web.

A Houston company is building a module for the International Space Station that could be used as a film studio. It's outfitted with filming equipment and special internal and external cameras, and studios can pay to use the module. Wasn't NASA whining about this kind of stuff a while ago? I'd like to see someone film a porno in there, just to see what NASA would do.

Apple is discontinuing the G4 cube due to poor sales. That's a shame, the design was really unique. Unfortunately, the design is about the only thing the G4 cube had going for it. It was underpowered and overpriced. Maybe now Apple will have a big sale on them or something.

Oh god, Steven Seagal has a reggae band? This guy can't go 10 minutes without embarassing himself, can he?

Went to see fireworks with a whole group of people from my apartment complex. I didn't know anyone there, so it kind of sucked. We watched from the edge of a lake, and we could see 5 or 6 different fireworks shows going on.

Now I have to do math homework. Ugh.

Ha ha, this is too funny: Fart Starts Fight in Spanish Street

Another man was walking with his family in Son Dameto when he accidentally broke wind.

The young men assumed his breaking wind was directed at them. They shouted insults at him and a fight ensued.

Remember that guy who turned his apartment into a Star Trek spaceship? Here are some more pictures of it. Very well done, if I may say so.

This is just badass. Some girl built a cathedral on top of a '71 Cadillac hearse. It's very impressive, she really paid a lot of attention to detail.

Looks like Microsoft is trying to get into digital photography through their usual sneaky, underhanded tactics.

Some music-related news:
-A trailer for Nine Inch Nails' live DVD is available. It looks very well made, unlike most concert videos.
-Apparently, KMFDM are back and recording a new album, after disbanding 2 years ago. Hopefully this means I'll finally get to see them if they tour.

I went home for the weekend cause I was sure it would be boring here. My parents finally got DSL, so I could've blogged from home, but...I dunno, I just didn't feel like it.

Saw AI on Saturday, along with 90% of the blogging community. Hmmm...I'm still not sure what to make of it. I liked parts of it, but other parts were really weird. The story concerns the morality of artificial intelligence, something that my professor briefly went over in my AI class. The special effects were great though, it's one of the few movies set in the future that doesn't look entirely cheesy. They didn't go overboard with the futuristic stuff, like people still read real, actual newspapers, rather than flexible computer screens or whatever.
