Some dumbass paid $255 for the link to a website that's selling a GeForce 3 for $345. Not the actual product, just the url. Damn, I need to start doing scams like this.

So I went out for dinner with Irving and Kon and we were talking about how, after this quarter, none of the people we hang out with will be at UCI. Me, Kon, and basically all of my senior friends are graduating, Irving's transferring to Johns Hopkins, and Irving's current roommate is transferring to UCLA. Our friend Jason already left UCI last year to be a missionary in Venezuela. Anyway, that's kind of sad. We gots ta reprezent, yo.

Oh wait, my brother's still gonna be here. Nevermind, I'm happy now.

Weird, I didn't know you could copyright language and culture. Three Polynesian tribes are suing Lego cause they used Polynesian culture in a game.

In more Simpsons-related items, The D'oh! of Homer is a book that relates philosophy to the Simpsons. Apparently, Bart has something to do with Nietzsche and Homer displays Aristotle's virtues of character. I'll believe it when I read it.

Good news for Simpsons fans: the Season 1 boxed DVD set will be released later this year, followed by periodic releases of the other seasons. They'll also have extra features, like outtakes.

Remember Voltron? Remember how all 5 lions could join together to form one big robot? I used to think being the pilot of one of the feet was the worst job in the world. Voltron's getting ready to kick a bad guy's ass, and you get to move the foot back and forth to make Voltron walk. How lame is that?

Ok, I realize how disposable panties might be handy in certain situations, but the name is just wrong: "Oops!"

Here's a good idea: Japanese girls who are molested on trains are turning around and extorting money from the molesters. Maybe it's not legal, but at least they're fighting back.

Saddam Hussein stole artwork to use on his book? Oh man, he really is evil.

The UCI senior picnic was today. I was seriously thinking about going, but I had to go to work instead. I'm glad I didn't go though, cause my friend said it really sucked ass. At most there were 10 people there. See, UCI was charging people $15 for food, and most likely it was shitty food too. They had a watermelon eating contest, but since nobody was there they just gave away the prize. They had a DJ too. There's nothing more pathetic than a DJ spinning music that nobody's dancing to. The senior t-shirt was also for sale, but it's a really fucking ugly shirt. Anyway, I didn't waste my time with the senior picnic. Stupid UCI, can't do anything right.

My old roommate Dave used to play this game called Subspace all day long. It looked like fun but I never got into it. Anyway, XShipWars is a similar game for Linux. It's a massively multiplayer, top-down perspective space game where you fly around and shoot stuff. Simple concept, simple graphics, but it's fun.

God bless those Swedes: Erotic Pictures to Bring Bible Back Into Fashion.
Swedish entrepreneurs are planning an illustrated version of the bible using models photographed by famous fashion photographers. Heh, I gotta see this.

Well, my long weekend was pretty cool. Saw Shrek, which was a pretty cool movie. Very good animation. I had lunch at this Indian restaurant in Glendale, and there were a bunch of pictures on the wall. I noticed one in particular: it was a picture of the owner with Daler Mehndi. Well, I think it was Daler Mehndi. Anyway, that made my day.

I finally got a replacement camera for the Nikon FM my stupid roommate lost. I got the exact same camera, actually, though the new one's in better condition.
