My partner for my computer networks class finished the entire project by himself tonight. Cause it's a 2 part project, right? A client and a server for an ftp program. First he wrote the client by himself, so I was going to do the server. Then tonight he emails me and says he finished the server too. Now I feel bad cause I didn't do anything. I even read up on socket programming and figured it out.

I got the results of the Spanish placement test today. I placed into the second lowest class, which means I need to take 3 Spanish classes to fulfill the requirement. Ugh. On the other hand, Spanish classes during summer school don't require placement tests, so I can go directly to the one class I need to graduate. Take that UCI! I found a way around your stupid requirements!

So I had to take the Spanish placement test today cause I've been putting off Spanish since freshman year. Oh man, I couldn't understand anything. I was like, what the hell is this? There was a listening comprehension part and they were speaking so fast. I really hope Spanish doesn't hold me back. On the bright side, I sat next to a cute girl with short hair and All Stars. I wish I had the nerve to say something witty to her, like "?Te gusta mi pelo?"

A few months ago I bought some badass black CDRs. They're pitch black on one side, shiny on the other. I assumed, naturally, that you're supposed to burn the shiny side, right? So for 2 months I thought they were all fucked up cause I couldn't burn them. I've been trying to get rid of them, but nobody wants any. Anyway, my brother asked his loser friends and they say you burn the black side. Sure enough, when I burned the black side they work perfectly.

So now I have my bitchin' music on my badass black CDs. And I have 24 more blank discs I need to fill up with evil music.

We rented Blair Witch 2 on Friday. Let's just say I'm glad I didn't spend $8 to see it in the theaters. It was nothing like the first one. The trailer showed the scariest parts. Even the brief nudity couldn't make up for how bad it is. The soundtrack sucked too. The first Blair Witch soundtrack had Skinny Puppy and Bauhaus. Blair Witch 2 has Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. Not a step in the right direction, guys. Isn't there supposed to be a third movie too?
