I read in the LA Times that American Pie 2 will be released later this year. What the fuck is that going to be about? The College Years? 2 hours of hardcore pie fucking? Maybe they join a frat and have to fuck pies for initiation. Anyway, you know it's going to suck.

Women Lack Confidence and Men Lie.
Women have less faith in their computer skills than men, according to a
survey of undergraduates in the US.
Men are more likely to rate their computer expertise as "above average" than women, despite near identical experience and frequency of use. The researchers also noted that women were much less likely to spend time in chat rooms or playing video games.
It is perhaps worth noting that young men are not known for their false modesty. These will be the same young men who will happily claim to have slept with 50 lovely ladies while Lara Croft is the closest thing to a scantily-clad-woman they would have seen.
Of course, the people surveyed are UCLA students, which explains the results.

Whoa, a few years ago I took a philosophy course at Pasadena City College taught by Max More, and now he's on the cover of LA Weekly. Small world. He's now doing something with transhumans and extropy or whatever, something about living forever. Weird. He never mentioned anything about transhumans in class. Although we did watch Gattaca once.

Went home for the weekend and celebrated Chinese New Year's with my parents. I can't remember the exact date, but I know it's not till later this week. But me, my brother, and all my cousins are at college and can't come back in the middle of the week, so we celebrated Saturday night instead.Then today I came back around 4:30. Then I went with Irving and Kon to see Snatch at Park Place. I thought it was a very cool movie. Very funny and entertaining, even though the first 20 minutes or so was boring. I wouldn't say it's better than Lock, Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrels though. It's about as good as Lock, Stock was.
