Well, we were bored again so me, Irving and Jung went to the Block to try to see Meet the Parents. Of course it was sold out, and it was also the last show of the night. We didn't want to just leave after driving all the way there, so we walked around. Looks like the gangsta's took over. I was expecting some lame, macho motherfuckers to start fighting at any moment. Lots of cute girls too. It's like all the honeys from Orange and LA County go the Block. Anyway, we just went to Borders and then came back. Pretty lame night.

After class I went to Best Buy and got a Logitech Mouseman Wheel Optical. It's very smooth and precise. Plus, the logo glows a cool blue color. You gotta love things that glow.

Converse Nears Corporate Excinction. This really sucks. I love Converse. I still wear the All-Stars I've had since 10th grade. They're all fucked up, some of the rubber is peeling, a few of the metal eyelets are missing, but they're still one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Maybe I should buy another pair before they're gone for good.

My friend Bobby recommended Richard (Dick) Cheese's album Lounge Against the Machine. Dick Cheese does lounge covers of alternative-y songs like Radiohead's Creep and Blink 182's What's My Age Again? (That's the only time you'll hear about Blink 182 on this blog). So I fired up Napster and found a few mp3s. Hee hee, this stuff is so cheesy it's cool. The cover of Limp Bizquik's Dookie or whatever is fucking hilarious. Dick Cheese doesn't do the whole song though, although it would probably get lame after a while.

This has probably been blogged to death, but it's still very cool. Screenshots is a series of screenshots depicting famous events from an isometric perspective (like The Sims ). I especially like the Elian Gonzalez and the Lee Harvey Oswald screenshots.

Woohoo! One of my programming assignments, which was originally due tomorrow, is now postponed to next Tuesday. I feel great right now. Of course, that just means I'll start it Monday night. When will I ever learn?

Tomorrow there's a job fair on campus. Lots of high tech, computer-sciency companies will be here. The CIA was even here last year, that was kind of cool. Somehow they knew my name before I introduced myself.

I'm gonna pass out resumes and try to get a cool job. I suppose I'll have to dress slightly better than I usually do. I'm not gonna wear a full suit though, that's a little too pathetic. Guys who wear suits to a job fair have "Butt kisser" written all over them.

Here's a good article examining the usefulness of PDAs. I was thinking of getting one, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that I'd never use it. I had a daily organizer in high school; I used it for a month and then said "fuck it" and threw it in the bottom of my locker.

Massachusetts universities require students to buy and use laptops. It's kinda cool, I think, except they might have problems with people who can't afford laptops. I don't think laptops would be useful in every class either. I mean, do you really need a computer for...say, Russian literature?

Yesterday I went to Second Spin, this used record store in Costa Mesa. Usually they don't have anything I want, but this time I lucked out. I think some dude sold his Skinny Puppy collection, as there was 5 or 6 albums on the rack. I bought 2 cause I have the other ones already.

Then I realized I'm almost done with my Skinny Puppy collection. I just need 2 more albums and I have to replace another album I leant to a friend and never got back. After that my life has no more purpose. I'll have no reason to go on living.

Well, I suppose I could get all the singles after that. Then maybe all the bootlegs. Yeah, that's it! My life has renewed meaning! I want to live again!
