My astronomy professor said the most random thing today. Right in the middle of lecture he goes, "It feels like my shoes are untied but they aren't," and then he continued on about Copernicus.

Then, right at the end of my operating systems class, the professor wrote his home address on the board and invited everyone to play beach volleyball on Saturday. I think it'd be really uncomfortable if we showed up and he was wearing a speedo. Ewwww...

Possibly the only reason to use the Paperclip assistant in MS Word.

More cool briefcase stuff.

This briefcase tagging machine is very clever. It's a little machine that sprays paint through a stencil, all neatly concealed in a hand-made briefcase.

Next Monday Front 242 is playing at the Galaxy, which is pretty close to here. Hopefully I won't have any homework or anything due the next day.

In my fridge I have 1 egg that's expired 6 days. It's probably still ok to eat, but it would be much more fun to throw into the (empty) parking lot across the street. Hee hee. Kids, don't follow my example.

The Samsung Yepp E64 mp3 player also looks very nice. Although, from the review, I'm not sure whether it uses SmartMedia cards or some proprietary thing.
"Hey, is that an mp3 player?"
"Yepp, sure is."

The HipZip mp3 player by Iomega looks pretty neat. It uses 40 mb Clik disks, and at $10 each they're way cheaper than the SmartMedia cards used by other mp3 players.

When I go to my astronomy class I have to pass through the area where all the frats and sororities have their little tables set up, trying to recruit people. I hate going through there. It's like high school all over again, all the pretty people with their little cliques. I've noticed the greeks actively try to recruit all the good-looking people that pass through. They'll invite them to parties, they'll talk about how much fun they have and how much beer they drink, they'll go on and on about their frat and sorority bullshit. I've also noticed they never talk to me. They'll pass out flyers to everybody walking by except me. Maybe I'm just a bitter and jealous dork, maybe not. All I know is, I hate fraternities and sororities more than ever.

Survivor will be released on VHS and DVD next year. What's the point? We know who wins. There's no surprise anymore, and there's no reason to watch again. Unless there's hardcore nudity, I'm skipping this one.

Offspring Cancels Album Giveaway. Offspring caved in and they're not going to release their next album for free. Of course, you know it's gonna be all over the web anyway, but it's the principle that matters. So much for sticking it to The Man.

We were bored again so we went to Krispy Kreme. Again. The workers were pretty nice. They close at 11:00 and we got there at 4 minutes past. One of the workers was locking the door but he let us in anyway. The dude behind the counter gave us free fresh, warm, right-out-of-the-machine samples. Then I felt kind of silly cause I still bought another donut. Oh well, that's life.

Tomorrow I have 1 class at 3:30. So I have the entire morning and half the afternoon to do nothing. How the hell did I get so much free time? It's sickening. I wouldn't mind so much if I had stuff to do, but there's absolutely nothing going on in my life. I'm wasting all that free time. I'm gonna regret this when I graduate and start working all day.

Ha ha ha ha ha! This is the funniest thing I've heard all month. An advertising executive is going to jail for 180 days for "manhandling" $8000 worth of baked goods.

I mentioned this already, but anyway, a few days ago I went to Fry's with my old roommate Irving. As we were coming back here, there were 2 girls standing at the street corner. They saw us pull up, they pointed at Irving's car, and they turned away laughing. Irving drives a BMW 5-something, by the way. So anyway, that was amusing.

I think I can post this now: My Behind the Curtain thing is up and running right here.
