I just finished reading Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk (who also wrote Fight Club). I really liked it. It's about the last surviving member of a cult who's transformed into a media superstar. And he's dictating his life story into the cockpit voice recorder of a plane that's about to crash. It's really fast paced and it throws a lot of stuff at you at once. That's the kind of stuff I wanna read.

Went to the Block last night with some friends from the dorm last year and we saw What Lies Beneath. I didn't really want to see it, but there was nothing else good playing. The movie turned out to be ok. Lots of cheap scares. The previews and trailers for the movie pretty much gave away the whole plot.

On my way to work today a car accident happened right in front of me. I was at a red light, waiting to make a right turn cause some cars coming towards me were making left turns, when this piece of shit truck runs the red light, swerves, but still hits one of the trucks turning left. I was just like, oh shit, I don't believe that just happened. Glass sprayed everywhere. The piece of shit truck was going pretty fast too, cause the truck that it hit ended up facing away from me. I didn't know what to do, so I left. It's probably wrong to leave the scene of an accident, but there were lots of other witnesses there too. Besides, I didn't feel like listening to the drivers argue. I made sure to drive really carefully after that.
      So that's my little car accident story. I used to complain, when I was stuck in traffic jams, that I never get to see accidents happen. Well, I finally saw one. I have to say, as cruel as it might seem, it livened up my boring Monday.
